There is a long story about this barn. My husband grew up in Cheyenne Valley, Ok. His family knew the old homestead and the owner years ago.This old barn has fascinated me since I first saw it, thinking it surely had a lot stories to tell. I took these photos on a very windy day in early spring Downloaded and printed one. My husband then told me the story of the old barn. A young man hung himself in this barn. Exactly three days later the barn caved in after all these years leaving only the ends to stand.
